We also will see your customer face to face. In plainer words, we’re working for free unless we recover your money.
Commercial Collections for preserving relationships–This less aggressive approach is ideal for the situation where the customer relationship is to be preserved. This approach more appropriate where a long-term customer is involved, or where there is a personal relationship with the customer. It is also commonly used where the customer is paying current invoices but has neglected past due amounts. It could be characterized as a modification of existing billing policy where diplomacy is key.

Many of our clients have expressed an increasing interest in the business credit report aspect of our service. We have our very own proprietary business credit checking service. Many areas of any particular business are included in our business credit reports. Some of the most popular features:
Our legal team is skilled at tracking defendants and their assets with computer research that allows us to track the assets of individuals and corporations. We routinely hire skilled private investigators & attorneys to research the location of assets, vehicles, and bank account information. When debtors hide, our hired investigators find them. We have collected large sums of money by garnishing bank accounts and obtaining a turnover of assets. If need be we are aggressive litigators.
This means developing an understanding of the debtor – the business itself, the ownership, and its
employees. We seek to determine how large they are, how long they have been in business, and how the business is performing. We will also investigate the background of owners, managers and employees as appropriate. The debt collector uses this information to develop a strategy and in negotiations with the debtor.
On occasion there are disputes where the other party has some damage claim against our client. The end result may be that our client agrees to accept less than the full balance owed as part of settling the dispute. In other situations, a debtor may be delinquent with a significant number of vendors and only have a limited amount of funds available to satisfy old debts. While a long-term payment plan may get a full recovery, there is risk that the debtor goes out of business before satisfying the obligation in full. In this situation, it may be preferable to negotiate a settlement agreement where the debtor gets a discount but pays the full discounted amount immediately. Clients must approve in writing any settlement agreement.

In politics there is a lot of debate as to whether businesses can be classified as people. In debt collection, there is no debate: businesses are people. From sole proprietorships and partnerships to multinational corporations with complex chains of command, people decide the agreements a business makes and people decide whether or not to pay the company’s obligations. We customize our approach with every person we get on the phone. Bookkeepers, payables clerks, gatekeepers, business owners, CFOs and CEOs – each of these professionals requires a different approach. We speak their language and negotiate accordingly. Articles – Good topics for articles include anything related to your company – recent changes to operations, the latest company softball game – or the industry you’re in. General business trends (think national and even international) are great article fodder, too.
We have developed a network of debt collection attorneys all over the United States who will work for us on a contingency basis. In most cases, the lawsuit needs to be filed where the debtor is located which necessitates having this network. Having debt collection attorneys who will work on a contingency basis gives our clients a huge advantage when litigation is required. It allows us to keep the costs low for our clients while debtors will have to pay their attorneys on an hourly basis. This typically puts significant pressure on the debtor to resolve the matter or alternatively, allow us to get a default judgment and then proceed to the judgment collection phase.
While our commercial collection agency takes claims of all sizes (average claim size must be $5,000 or more), we are recognized experts on large claims. When you are owed $25,000, $50,000, $200,000 or over $1 million, it typically is not a basic collection matter. And the amount owed to you is much more important to you than a smaller claim.
